How it works

Four steps. Transparent from the first click.

01 / Submit

Provide card & origin proof

Submit your card(s) with documentation of its origin: a rebate confirmation, employer letter, or cash purchase receipt.

02 / Verify

ID verification & origin check

We confirm your identity and validate the card's source. Cards with credit, third-party, or unknown origins are rejected.

03 / Quote

Receive a transparent offer

Your offer is a flat 65% of the card balance, locked as soon as you submit and paid in your preferred method.

04 / Settle

Payout after verification window

Balance confirmed, payout released to your wallet after a short settlement window. It is designed to protect both parties.

Submit your card

Get a quote. Sell in minutes.

Submit your card details, receive a locked offer, set up your payout, and confirm your contact details. All in one secure flow.

Why cardcept

One flat rate, explained.

Origin-verified inventory
We only accept cards with traceable origin: rebate, corporate, or cash with receipt. That keeps chargeback risk, and the cost of it, out of your price.
Predictable settlement
Quotes are locked. Payouts follow a defined settlement window. No last-minute rate changes or surprise deductions.
Checks before every payout
Every submission is reviewed by our team, and nothing is paid until it passes.
Crypto-native payouts
Unlike CardCash or Raise, we pay in Bitcoin and USDC, or in USD if you prefer, with full on-chain settlement.
Our rate
65%
of the card balance, flat, on every eligible card
You receive on a $100 card $65.00
Settlement target Within 48 hours
Balance per card $50 to $500

Why we can't pay the full balance

A prepaid balance is not cash. Turning it into cash costs money at every step, and those costs come out of the balance before anyone is paid.

Merchant and network fees

Spending a prepaid balance means going through merchants, card networks and payment processors. Each one takes a fee.

Card and issuer limits

Issuers can charge activation or maintenance fees and cap how much can be spent or withdrawn, so part of the balance never makes it out.

Verification and review

Every submission gets an identity check and a manual origin review before anything is paid.

Risk and payout costs

Some cards turn out to be used, invalid or lower than stated. Then there are network fees and conversion costs to pay you in crypto or USD.

Our rate is a flat 65%. It is locked when you submit, with no hidden deductions. If the real balance is lower than you entered, we tell you and adjust the offer before paying.

Eligible cards

Only cards with verifiable origin.

Origin determines fraud risk. Rebate and corporate cards can't be disputed upstream, which keeps our risk low and lets us quote a flat rate.

Who this is for

Built for individuals and companies.

For individuals

Unused cards are dead money.

You earned them, whether as a rebate from an appliance or an incentive from your employer, but can't easily spend them where it matters. We turn them into real value, fast.

Rebate cards from manufacturers or utilities
Corporate bonus or research compensation cards
Payout in BTC, USDC, or USD bank transfer
Minimum $50, payout within 48 hours
For companiesComing soon

Billions in incentives go unused every year.

Gift cards issued for rewards, promotions, and bonuses often sit untouched, with no refund path back. That capital stays with the issuer. We help you recover it.

Questions

Things people ask.

How long does settlement actually take?
+
Our target is within 48 hours of completing your submission: card details, contact information, and payout instructions. Verified rebate and corporate cards typically settle faster. The exact timing depends on internal review, balance confirmation, and network congestion for crypto payouts.
Why only rebate and corporate cards, not all gift cards?
+
Because origin determines fraud risk. Cards purchased with stolen credit cards can be charged back weeks later. Rebate and corporate cards don't have that upstream risk. They're issued directly by the rebate program or employer, not purchased with a disputable instrument. That keeps our risk low and lets us quote a flat rate.
Are there limits on how much I can sell?
+
Yes. Each card can be $50 to $500, and we limit how much you can submit per day, per week and per month. New accounts have lower limits for their first days. You can see your own limits and how much you have used in your dashboard. We may change limits at any time.
Why do you pay 65% and not the full balance?
+
Turning a prepaid balance into cash costs money: merchant, card network and payment processor fees, issuer fees and limits, our identity and origin review, and the cost of paying you in crypto or USD. The rate is a flat 65% of the balance, locked when you submit, with no hidden deductions.
How is this different from CardCash or Raise?
+
CardCash and Raise are excellent for ACH/check settlement on general gift cards. Cardcept focuses specifically on crypto settlement (BTC/USDC) and only accepts traceable-origin cards, which lets us pay competitive rates without pricing in fraud risk.
How do you handle fraud and compliance?
+
Every submission is reviewed by our team before any payout, and we keep a record of each step. We may decline, hold or report activity that looks fraudulent or unlawful. We are a intended for US sellers.
What happens if my card is rejected?
+
If your card doesn't pass origin verification or our review criteria, you'll be notified and the submission will be declined. No fees are charged for rejected cards. You can re-submit with additional documentation or a different card.
What information do I need to provide?
+
Card details (type, balance, and redemption code or proof), your preferred payout method and wallet/bank info, and basic contact information (name, email, phone). For corporate cards, origin documentation may be requested during review. All data is encrypted and handled per our privacy policy.
